Südtirol - Alto Adige DOC
Schiava, small amount of Lagrein
The grapes come from the "Hill of Witches" ("Hexenbichler" in German), a subzone on the south side of Tramin, where Schiava is the dominant variety, along with a small amount of Lagrein. The soils are composed of calcareous clay and pebbles.
70 hl / hectare
The grapes were de-stemmed and fermented in steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation
The Hexenbichler is lightly tannic in terms of structure with a bright color and fresh fruit flavors.
We recommend pairing this wine with appetizers and regional Tyrolean specialties, bacon and ham, in addition to white meats and mild cheeses.
